Thinking about upgrading your car’s braking system? Check out MPB’s Pro-Driver video. This one-and-a half minute video gives you the complete back story on what makes Master Power Brakes’ Pro-Driver Series the ultimate stopping tool for your vehicle with 17” or larger wheels.
The video uses a cut-away wheel to let you clearly see how the calipers look mounted and all the advantages in upgrading your brake system to our Pro-Driver Series brake system!
Our Pro-Driver Series is specifically designed for the customer who wants the ultimate braking inside their 17" or larger wheels using American-Made components and a system that comes with bolt-on simplicity. All of this is available for the most common GM, Ford and Mopar applications including some GM trucks.

Our February 2017 Ride of The Month Winner is a 1965 Ford Mustang submitted by Mel Farmer! Here's Mel's quick highlights of his ride:
"1965 Mustang 289 30 over, roller rockers, 411 Eaton posi unit, Master Power Brakes' conversion kit, B&M automatic and stall speed converter."
With Mel's 1965 Mustang being this month's Ride of the Month, we thought it would be a good opportunity to discuss a bit of history around the 1965 Ford Mustang!
One of the greater luxuries for classic musclecars with nose-heavy big blocks is power brakes. While some would rather have the full feedback of a manual brake pedal, the soft touch of a power booster-assisted master cylinder is sometimes more of a blessing than a luxury.
Wheel fitment is a huge concern when doing a disc brake conversion. Will my stock wheels fit? What wheels do fit and what wheels don’t fit? These are all very good questions. In fact, we received an email just the other day from a potential customer and he was asking these very questions. Well, we have a tool that can be used to provide these answers but unfortunately people don’t seem to know about it or are not sure on how to use it.
So what is this tool? It is a very simple wheel fitment template. Our R&D department has created a template that is application specific and available for our most popular kits with more and more coming down the road. The template gives a cross section of the disc brake system that can be placed within the wheel to determine if adequate clearance is available. The use of it is very simple and if you’ll read a little further, we’ll walk you through it and give some pointers.
When this 1969 Road Runner came into the shop in 1990, little did Tony Gemza know that it would come with a story. The man above is Johnny Janzyk, and he acquired the Road Runner from Tony’s father. The elder Gemza was doing restorations as a part-time business, and this car was part of a pair of Mopars that were towed back to New York from California. It had a blown engine, but was a solid car with lots of potential.
