Truck U is a how-to show dedicated exclusively to trucks, 4x4s and SUV’s. Truck U finds monster-truck expert Matt Steele and master mechanic Bruno Massel involved in hands-on projects crucial to serious off-roading and truck performance.
The Project
On this episode of Truck U, Bruno and Matt tackle a full drum to disc conversion at all four wheels of a really cool 1965 Ford F-100. They will be installing our Legend Series Version 2.0 Disc Brake Conversion Kit on the front and our all new and soon to be released Legend Series Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit.
The Legend Series Version 2.0 front is a complete and simple bolt-in installation that doesn’t require any spindle removal at all and can be performed with simple hand tools. The conversion is completed in the front using an 8″ dual diaphragm power brake booster/master conversion with master cylinder.
In the rear, be the first to see our completely new and re-designed rear Legend Series Kit. Using a newer style caliper with park brake, the rear is beyond easy to install and will complement the front system very nicely. The new system is in the final stages of production and should be available to ship in early 2018.
